How We Treat
Manipulation (chiropractic adjustment) restores normal structure and function by applying a controlled force into joints that have become displaced or restricted in their movement.
Flexion/Distraction (Cox Technique) is used to treat bulging or herniated discs by gently decompressing the disc space in order to restore the injured disc to its proper position and function.
Acupuncture activates the body’s natural healing abilities by using extremely fine gauge needles inserted at selected points along energy pathways to influence the associated internal organs and structures.
Ultrasound uses high frequency ultrasonic waves to stimulate the healing of damaged tissues. We may prescribe ultrasound to complement manipulation.
Electrical Muscle Stimulation (EMS) uses electric impulses to reduce muscle spasm and pain and strengthen muscle.
We may prescribe EMS to complement manipulation
